I served in Greater Manchester Fire Service for 32 years and during the last 6 was a Station Officer at Philips Park Fire Station as the Fire Prevention Officer.

After I retired I was employed for 4 years by The Highland Primary Care NHS Trust in Inverness as a Health and Safety Trainer and Advisor. My professional qualifications are as follows;
