Recent projects The 02 centre Space Consulting UK Ltd were appointed by AEG Worldwide, owners of the 02 centre (formerly the Millennium Dome) to project manage their relocation from Canary Wharf to a new corporate head office on the 02 campus. This ambitious project involved the transformation of a cafe/exhibition centre being transformed into a state-of-the-art modern office headquarters. The building itself had lain unused for over 7 years and was constructed with glass and a corrugated curved roof. All aspects of the project were looked after by Space Consulting including full architectural interior and exterior design, strip out and removal of existing air handling units, complete interior fit out and provision of furniture as well as a complete relocation facility. The design incorporated a floating ceiling raft encasing lighting and air conditioning units which complimented the overall feel of the space. The bespoke walnut reception desk and boardroom table added richness and contrasted to the modern white furniture. The works were carried out in 9 weeks and the building was handed over to the client on time and within budget. AEG Worldwide are now happily working form their new home!! London Bridge The second part of the AEG Worldwide relocation involved AEG Live UK Ltd, another part of the AEG group. They too had to relocate from Canary Wharf and moved to newly refurbished space near London Bridge Again, Space Consulting was appointed to project manage to process. The building as a whole was undergoing major refurbishment and was completely covered with scaffolding throughout the process. They were significant challenges in coordinating with various contractors who were working on different parts of the building and this was all part of the remit. Again, a full interior design concept was introduced with major input from the client. Clever use of light and colour has created a stunning workplace which was completed well within the 6 week programme. Again, the project was completed on time and in budget. AEG Live UK Ltd are also happily operating from their new environment.
