How it Works

GET A COPY OF YOUR PRESCRIPTION

  • Your prescription needs to be no older than 2 years.
  • By Law, your Optician has to give you a copy of your prescription.
  • If it is possible, ask the Optician to write your P.D. (Pupillary Distance) on your prescription card.
  • Please note: We cannot supply glasses if you are under 18 years old or are registered blind or partially sighted.

BROWSE THE SITE AND CHOOSE THE FRAMES YOU LIKE

  • Choose from our wide range with simple pricing
    • All Basic Frames are £15.00
    • All Branded Frames are £20.00
    • All Frames by the same designer are the same price e.g. All Guess frames are £80.00!
  • If you want to try a frame before getting your lenses put in, just select 'Purchase Frame Only' when you have clicked on the frame you wish to purchase. If you purchase the frame but are unhappy with it simply send it back for a full refund of the frame price. Please note it must be returned in the same condition it was dispatched in and within 28 days.

CHOOSE THE LENSES YOU WANT AND ANY OPTIONS

  • We have one of the widest ranges of lens choices on the internet.
  • If you cannot find the lenses you want please do not hesitate to contact us and we will happily source and price them for you. (Please note: We currently do not supply Varifocals.)
  • All of our lenses are manufactured by large UK only based companies who conform to BS EN ISO 14889 8980 Parts 1 & 2.

ENTER YOUR PRESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • For Distance glasses enter the Sphere (SPH), Cylinder (CYL) and Axis values exactly as it appears on your prescription card. (If there is no value in the Cylinder (CYL) box then leave this blank.)
  • For Reading and Bifocal glasses enter the details as above but also enter the 'Add' value from your prescription card.
  • Enter your P.D. (Pupillary Distance) measurement.
  • This is the distance between the centres of your pupils. Your Optician may provide you with this measurement but if they do not, we can use a standard average measurement or you can measure it yourself with the help of a friend, as follows:
  • Get your friend to stand eye level with you. You need to look at the top of their nose while he/she uses a standard ruler to measure the distance from the centre of one pupil to the centre of the other. This measurement is always quoted in millimetres (mm).
  • If you are ordering Bifocals, the segment will automatically be positioned 3mm below the centre of the lens. If you would prefer to ensure the segment is in exactly the correct position then select 'Purchase Frame Only' and we will post the frame to you. When you receive it, get a friend to stand eye level with you, and take a photo of you wearing the frame (try to get just your face and neck into the picture). Post the frame, photo and completed order form back to us and we will glaze the glasses for you. Please note there will only be one delivery charge applied to your order.
  • If you have any concerns about your prescription you can e-mail or post a copy of your prescription to us. Simply click on ´Contact Us´ for the details.
