Branches
Branches are organised geographically as follows:
Eastern Counties
Ireland
Lancs & Cheshire
Mets & South
Northern Counties
West of England
Individual branch activities can be found via the branch link
Branches are autonomous in their activity. All have elected committees comprising a Chair, Hon Sec, Hon Treasurer and Council Rep.
Benefits of Branch Membership
- Branches may run training courses following the National Core Curriculum –
- Each branch determines how often to meet and the subject matter of their meetings, for the benefit of their members.
- Any BSCAH member can attend any branch meeting but a fee may be charged however, members attending their own branch meetings are not charged.
- Peer support is offered through the branch structure
- Ongoing training is often offered in the form of workshops
- Networking opportunities are afforded at branch meetings
